We named something that already existed.
THE ORIGIN
DUMMYWEARS started with a question no one was asking: why do we change clothes between sleeping and going outside?
The honest answer is social pressure. Not comfort. Not function. Not hygiene. Just the vague fear of being judged.
So we made clothes that remove that question entirely. Pieces that are genuinely comfortable enough to sleep in, and intentionally designed enough to wear in public without explanation.
We called it Sleepfashion™. Not because it needed a name, but because a name makes it harder to ignore.
PHILOSOPHY
No categories.
Sleepfashion is not pajamas, loungewear, or athleisure. Those are categories designed by marketing. This is designed by people who are tired of categories.
No transformation.
You shouldn't need to change before walking outside. The clothes you sleep in should be the same clothes you walk into a restaurant in.
No validation.
We don't need you to tell us these are good. We don't need influencers to wear them. They work. That's enough.
No apology.
When someone asks "is that really what you're wearing?" — the answer is yes. No explanation needed. No defense required.
